XIBALBA | CENOTES
Archaeological + Cenote + Lunch & Coctails
You can't miss this unique experience; cenotes are the typical portrait of Yucatan!
In Mayan mythology, cenotes represented a passage to the underworld or “Xibálba”. Our MGT gay host will take you to the most beautiful cenotes in Yucatan located in an area known as the ring of cenotes whose formation is related to the meteorite that crash the earth 65 million years ago! Wrapped up in myths and legends, currently, cenotes stir up a sense of adventure among visitors from all over the world.
In Mayan mythology, the cenotes represented a passage to the underworld, or “Xibálba” the kingdom of death. They are natural pools of crystal water created by the erosion of the limestone that surrounds them. They are connected by the longest underground river network in the world, and they are exclusive environments of the Yucatán Peninsula.
