Understanding Chichen Itza is understanding how advance the mayan culture was. Chichen Itza was built having the stars alignment in mind, that help them to define the season to cultivate their land. Their buildings work as giant sundials, with special events happening in the equinox (spoiler alert: The edge of the pyramid cast a shadow with the shape of a the giant snake God).

Chichen Itza has hundred of secrets, some of them we know about and will amaze you, other ones, remains a mystery.

Our MGT guides and site archaeological experts will lead you through the history while having fun.

izamal

Izamal is called the City of Three Cultures because three historical periods merge together: the pyramids seen looking at the sky in backyard of local houses; the convent, whose charm stems from the silence of the majestic walls that forever marked the footprint of the Spanish influence; the streets, buildings, squares, houses and churches, all in a harmonious visual rhythm of one color: yellow.

Valladolid

Valladolid has the hallmark of “Pueblo Mágico”,  a select group of Mexican villages whose cultural, historical, or natural treasures have been deemed, well, magical.  Valladolid will transport you to a realm of colonial churches, surrealist gardens, far from the all-inclusive resorts and cheap fruity cocktails. This is the Mexico you’ve always wanted to discover.

Alternative Experience

Kukulkan Nights

Art meets History as you sit enthralled and the History Of The Maya is projected onto the main pyramid. An exceptional way to see Chichén Itzá in a new light most tourists don’t get a chance to see in tour groups. Just sit back and be entertained. Will be one of the highlights of your trip.

ADDED VALUE

LGBTQ+

Our commitment is to the LGBTQ+ community by increasing visibility. When people are able to see something represented, they are better able to understand and grasp who those people are, and this creates an important shift in the social consciousness to include people from a range of different backgrounds.

While Equal Marriage is allowed by the Supreme Constitution of México, States needs to change their own Constitution. Slowly, most of the states in Mexico have done it since 2013. In the case of Yucatán, we are still on the fight with the local conservative congress to pass the bill.

Environment

Our commitment is to the environment. We are living at the edge of a time where sustainability actions are a must. As in every part of the world, Yucatan has its own specific environmental challenges. It’s our responsibility to pass this knowledge to our customers to reduce impact on nature while still enjoying it.
